When you’re craving authentic Mexican food, Felipe’s is your best bet for a fiery fiesta. Located off of S. Claiborne Street next to Papa John’s Pizza, Felipe’s is a small restaurant with big flavor. Don’t be intimidated by the seemingly long lines of hungry people- you’ll have your food within 10 minutes, thanks to an efficient cafeteria-style system. Fan favorites include the super burrito, quesadilla and nachos, with additions like spicy chicken, guacamole, pico de gallo and queso just to name a few. Felipe’s makes sure your order is just right, so don’t be embarrassed to pile on that sour cream, salsa and cilantro. It’s not uncommon to ask for a little more guacamole, because it’s just that good.
