Brief: Community supports injured tulane player

T-shirts donning Devon Walker’s name and jersey number can be seen all over Tulane’s campus as well as at Loyola. Now the New Orleans Saints are teaming up with Tulane to help raise money for Walker and his family. Saints wide receiver Joe Morgan is donating a signed football, tickets to the Chiefs-Saints game and a dinner for two. The raffle tickets for this contest are $10 and will be drawn at the Tulane football game against Ole Miss on Sept. 22 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The money raised from the raffle will go directly to the Devon Walker Fund. Walker seriously injured his neck in a football game versus the University of Tulsa. He was recently moved into a new facility to continue physical therapy on his fractured spine.
