One of Frenchmen Street’s most popular bar/music venues, The Maison is naturally a Loyola favorite.
With a young crowd and almost never a cover charge, this hip local spot features three different stage areas: a smaller stage in the front right when you walk in for more low key artists, a bigger stage in the back for bigger artists and an upstairs room that offers a bar and lounge area. Open seven days a week, Maison offers all different types of music depending on what day and time you decide to stop in. Weekends are definitely the best time to go- it might be packed, but don’t worry. Most likely there will be a different act on each stage, so you can bounce around and feel like you’re at three different shows at once!
