Krewe du Vieux kicked off the start of parade season in New Orleans on Saturday, Feb. 15. Krewe du Vieux’s 17 sub-krewes each presented their own interpretations of the theme “Where The Vile Things Are.” Historian and wetlands restoration advocate John Barry was honored as the krewe’s king. Krewe Delusion followed Krewe du Vieux.
