Volleyball drops three conference games over the weekend

The Loyola volleyball team went on the road this past weekend, losing each of their three games in Southern States Athletic Conference play.

On Friday, the Wolf pack took on SSAC foe Faulkner University and lost to the Eagles in three sets.

Loyola looked to bounce back on Saturday as they took on Brenau University, but could not overcome the Golden Tigers’ attack as they got swept in three sets for the second night in a row.

The Wolf pack finished up their road trip on Sunday as they took on Dalton State. Loyola was able to capture one set from the Roadrunners, but ultimately lost by a score of 3-1.

Sophomore Tylar Beckham was a bright spot for the Wolf pack as she led the team in kills during each game, according to Loyola Athletics.

The Wolf pack look to bounce back as they host a three-game home stand starting Friday, Oct. 28 at First NBC Court.
