The New Orleans Saints came up short in the final minutes against the undefeated Carolina Panthers with the final score of 41-38.
For the first time in NFL history, a defensive player blocked a point after touchdown and returned it for two points. Stephone Anthony blocked Panthers kicker Graham Gano’s attempt and returned it for two points.
The Saints (4-8) will travel to Tampa Bay to take on divisional foe, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-6) on Sunday, Dec. 13 at 12:00 p.m.
