Europe accepts migrant refugees

From Syria to Afghanistan, millions have been searching for a way into Europe to escape either the violence of war or a police state.

Germany said they will allow 500,000 migrants a year and multiple other countries are feeling the pressure to allow these migrants to seek asylum. However, German Chancellor Angela Merkel is expected to get over 800,000 applications for asylum.

Merkel has called that the EU to come together to create mandatory quotas that each country must take, based upon the 1951 Refugee Convention and the 1967 protocol 142 states signed in response to the flow of refugees.

Hungary has been criticized for its decrepit conditions in transfer facilities, leading to the Hungarian authority to allow migrants to move through the country without following their standard.
