Brief: Music and Fine Arts announce Kvet professorship

In honor of Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Edward Kvet, the College of Music and Fine Arts announced the Edward J. Kvet Professorship in Music and Fine Arts.

A professorship is a title given to distinguished faculty. The Board of Regents of Louisiana will fund the Kvet professorship.

Before serving as provost, Kvet served as the dean of the College of Music and Fine Arts for 10 years. Kvet has worked at Loyola for 30 years. Kvet will retire as provost at the end of this academic year.
