During Tulane’s football game versus the University of Tulsa, Tulane player Devon Walker broke his neck after smashing helmets with another player. The entire New Orleans community now awaits details of the impact of his injuries. In light of the tense situation, Tulane doctors have tried to clear up rumors of Walker’s injuries. Contrary to rumors, Walker’s lungs did not collapse during the impact and though doctors did chest compressions to be safe, his heart had not stopped.
