Following recognition in their sport of choice, Loyola student athletes who have grade point averages of at least 3.0 will now be honored for their accomplishments in the classroom. Students with grade point averages between 3.0 and 3.49 receive bronze medals; 3.5-3.99 silver medals; and those with 4.0s receive the highest honor of a gold medal. The ceremonies take place in the St. Charles room at the Eighth Annual Scholar Athlete Awards Ceremony presented by Calco Travel April 30.
