Classes canceled for Wednesday

Due to the threat of winter weather, including the possibility of snow and ice, classes are canceled for tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 17, according to an email sent by David Borofsky, chief operating officer.

Dining services will remain open, but may have limited hours due to staffing issues.

“Ice could remain on the ground through the early morning hours, especially on bridges and overpasses,” Borofsky said.

Borofsky also urged the community to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary travel.

Tulane is also closed for tomorrow, as well as University of New Orleans, Delgado and Xavier.
