New records were set for the Loyola men’s golf tournament, as the team finished with the lowest scoring match in school history and the SSAC named Philip Nijoka to the SSAC All-Tournament team, a first for the program.

At Arrowhead Country Club, the Wolf Pack secured a sixth place finish with 885 total points, shattering the previous record of 909 set back in 2016.

Philip Nijoka also had an outstanding performance, as he finished fifth overall with a score of 212. His placement is the highest placement by a Loyola golfer in school history, and lead to him being named to the All-Tournament team, another first time honor for the program.

His brother, Mark, captured a tied 17th place finish with 221.

Ryan Hicks tied for 24th while Jose Perez tied for 31st. Jack Dickson placed at the 37th spot overall.
