Friday Nights at NOMA: Lecture with Stacy Hollander

Friday Nights at NOMA offers locals a brief artistic getaway each week with its collaboration of music, visual art and activites for audiences to get their hands dirty.

The new exhibition Self-Taught Genius: Treasures from the American Folk Art Museum will open on Feb. 26 in the Stern Auditorium of the New Orleans Museum of Art.

Stacy Hollander, co-curator of the project, will speak on the exhibit at 6:30 p.m. following a performance by Shotgun Jazz Band.

Alongside the talk will be the Art on the Spot activity table featuring NOMA’s art educators. The family event will be open to the public from 5 to 9 p.m.
