On Saturday, Jan 2, 2016, Loyola University New Orleans honored the success of their 2014-15 women’s basketball team. Last year, the women finished the year 27-4 overall and 15-3 in conference play, making it to the Southern States Athletic Conference tournament. The women finished in the top of many statistical categories. As a team, they finished first in field goal percentage defense (33.9%), third in field goal percentage (36.8%),  fifth in three point shots made per game (8) and sixth in field goal percentage (44.6%) amongst others. Individually, Briana Oglesby was finished first in three point field goal percentage, making 48.5% of her attempts, Janeicia Neely finished ninth in points scored with 593 and 10th in points per game with 19.129.
