Lucy Dieckhaus, news editor of The Maroon and mass communication junior, is a finalist for “Story of the Year” from the Associated Collegiate Press. Dieckhaus received the accolade for her coverage on the Student Government Association last semester. Dieckhaus is one of top ten collegiate journalists in the nation, in company of journalists from universities such as Elon University, LSU, Fordham University and Syracuse University.
