Loyola and Tulane universities joined together again for the 18th annual Take Back the Night march Tuesday, October 27, 2009. The march was a call for an end to sexual violence and featured student speakers from both schools.

After meeting outside the horseshoe in front of Marquette Hall to hear stories of overcoming sexual abuse, participants walked by candlelight to the Myra Clare Rogers Memorial Chapel at Tulane for closing ceremonies.

Prior to the event, Tulane and Loyola sold raffle tickets to benefit the Metropolitan Center for Women and Children, the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program at LSU Public Hospital and Crescent House.
