Brief: Volleyball victorious in tougaloo game

Loyola’s volleyball team came out on top in the game versus Tougaloo College last Tuesday night. Loyola won all three sets, 25-5, 25-15 and 25-18. Outside hitters, pre-med sophomore Lauren Brand and mass communications freshman Eva Allen, led Loyola in most kills. Political science senior Samantha Worsham made 26 assists, and business junior Shelby Plant executed three blocks. Sophmore Becca Burnett had nine digs for the night.
