Brief: Tennis teams compete in NAIA South Regional

The men’s and women’s tennis players competed at the NAIA South Regional competition Sept. 4 in Gainesville, GA. Three Pack players advanced to consolation finals as international business freshman Tarun Surat defeated teammate and economics junior Devon Belcher 8-4. Biology sophomore Meghan deBarocelli made it to the women’s consolation final before falling 8-6 to Eline Nagels of Brenau University. The tennis season will officially begin in the spring semester.
