Brief: Nursing professor named La. nurse administrator of the year

School of Nursing professor Gwen George was named Louisiana’s Nursing School Administrator of the Year. The award was given by the Louisiana State Nurses Association. George received the award for her coordination of Loyola’s Doctor of Nursing Practice online program, the first in Louisiana, since 2010. US News & World Report now ranks the program among the top six online graduate nursing programs nationwide.
