Brief: Civil rights lawyers and judges come to law school

Top civil rights lawyers and judges from the region will gather at the College of Law on Friday, Sept. 21, from 8 a.m. – 4:35 p.m. at the Pan American Life Center. “Civil Rights – From Filing Suit to Getting Paid” will be a demonstration on the best practices and information on filing civil rights class actions in federal court. The event will be held by the Institute for Continuing Legal Education. The cost is $295 for non-alumni and $275 for alumni.
