Brief: Biever Guest Lectures Series to host social theorist

The Biever Guest Lectures Series will host social theorist Stanley Aronowitz next month in three different lectures. Aronowitz’s first lecture will discuss his new book “Taking it Big: C. Wright Mills and the Making of Political Intellectuals.” This will occur on Friday, Oct. 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Monroe Library.

On Saturday, Oct. 6 from 2 to 4 p.m., Aronowitz will discuss “What’s Next? Beyond the Limits of Protest and Resistance” in Seminar Room 4 of the Monroe Library. “What’s Next?” will analyze the class system in America and will take place on Monday, Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Nunemaker Auditorium.
