Track and Field teams show off season-best performances at the Southern Mississippi Invitational

For the second meet in a row, the Loyola track and field team shined, recording program and personal bests.

Leah Banks took home first place in the long jump with 5.64 meters, a new program best.

Basketball star Meghan Temple made her track debut in the discus, landing seventh place with 39.19mm.

Jarret Richard recorded a personal best in the 100m dash, racking up ninth place with 10.89. Richard’s time is also the second fastest in the SSAC this season.

Earl Coats notched a personal best in the 400m dash and Brain Davis took 15th overall and a personal best in the 800m run.
