As part of the new Strategic Plan, Transforming Loyola 2020, the former Academic Resource Center will be reorganized into a new Student Success Center, and Loyola’s Summer Bridge Program will be replaced with the year-long “Magis Program”.

The Student Success Center will be led by a team of Robert Bell serving as Director of Learning Resources and Writing Across the Curriculum, Liz Rainey continuing in her role as Director of Retention and Student Success and Richelle Voelker continuing in her role as Director of Disability Services.

The “Magis Program” will help students succeed in making the transition from high school to college during their first year. Magis students will be provisionally admitted to Loyola, and they will receive a specialized course schedule as well as year-long advising.
